EMS students at the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center recently had a fundraiser to offset the cost of apparel, field trips and testing costs.
Teacher Sara McCartin partnered with Chenez Popcorn in Lockport for the students to sell. While the students were out selling, a generous anonymous donor bought $200 of the delicious gourmet treats and requested that it be donated to Lockport Cares. The popcorn will be delivered to the homeless shelter where it will hopefully bring smiles to the faces of the people who are utilizing their resources.
Looks like a win-win for everyone!
