The Niagara Career and Technical Education Center was packed with people celebrating the 29 new licensed practical nursing (LPN) students that graduated on February 14th.
Adult learners Chermaine Patrice Allen, Shania C. Belfon, Sara Bell, Zakiyyah A. Bethea, Zariah Latrese Bridges, Kelli Clemons, Erika N. Crockett, Jyasia S. Culbreath, Cinnamon DiNardo, Taraca Epperson, Megan Arlana Grandin, Jessica Gullo, LeNora M. Hawthorne, Deaira Jenkins, Joe’l Irene Jenkins, Leteasha S. Johnson, Cynaja Jordan, Haley Kolek, Deanna Leavitt-Judware, Brianna Nicole Matthews, Ariane Nichols, Taleecia Keeanah Orange, Dawn A. Pirinelli, Carli Raylynn Reynolds, Tori Nicole Shine, TaWanda Frances Smith, Jameah Dane Swanson, Keriayn Sandra Sykes and Danasha Marie Travis were emotional as Director of Adult Education, CTE & Instructional Services Dr. Michael Weyrauch, Adult Education Coordinator Maureen Bartlett, Health Science Coordinator Diana Petrizzo and Instructors Jennifer Peters, Anne Fetterhoff , Kelly Winslow, Debra Dittmer, Kristy Holland, Renee Holly-Eberhard, Sha-Vonna Jordan, Gail Klinshaw, Theresa Mosher, Deb Rettig and Debra Unger congratulated them on their achievement.
All the students took the 12 month program at Orleans/Niagara BOCES’ Lockport site. The program is designed to prepare students to work as entry level nurses in the healthcare system and they are prepped to take their NCLEX-PN licensure examination. We are so proud of all our graduates and wish them much success as they start their new careers!
